I found Christy when I was searching for a cake for my son's birthday. I am so so so happy I chose her bakery!! We had this delicious cake tonight, it was perfect. It was chocolate cake with Bavarian cream filling. The cake itself wasn't overly sweet, it was tender, moist, layered in flavor. The cream wasn't too sweet or layered too think. Same with the fondant being thin so it didn't overwhelm the cake. I have tried many cakes from many well known bakeries in town and they all run overly sweet or tasteless. Trust me, Christy's bakery is truly a hidden gem. You can tell she takes a lot of pride in her work and doesn't just want the cake to look good, she wants it to taste delicious. I'm dreaming of another slice while I type this. Thanks, Christy!

I cannot imagine a holiday or birthday without a cake, pie, or pastry from Rock Sugar. There does not seem to be an item that cannot be made for any special occasion. My favorites have been the black forest cake or the key lime pie. I highly recommend them for any event.

What ever you order you will not be disappointed. The pumpkin chocolate chip cookies (seasonal) are also AMAZING! Christy also makes some of the most beautiful cakes I have ever seen. My aka "lil brother" Anthony just celebrated his bday and I had a huge vision but no idea where to begin. Christy was referred to me by mutual friends, Monique & Todd, so I proposed my thought snd she ran with it! Her attention to detail is extreme. The taste? Amazing! I have never had nor tasted a better cake... EVER!! As soon as it was delivered and I actually put it under the microscope...lol... I actually shed tears at how stunning it was.
